Afeni Shakur did not approve of the All Eyez on Me movie. Interestingly enough in May of 2016 her dying wish was for the film not to be made. She didn’t think the film was accurate and didn’t approve of the director Benny Boom who had only directed music videos at that point.
Outlawz E.D.I. Mean and Young Noble not only worked as consultants on the film in direct contrast to the wishes of Afeni but they acted in the movie as well.
Considering without Tupac Shakur the Outlawz wouldn’t have had musical careers. Do you think it was wrong for them to go against the dying wishes of Tupac’s mother for financial gain?
